Job summary

East SILC invites applications for a Behaviour Support Worker to join our Behaviour Team. The role requires a calm, positive practitioner with experience supporting pupils with complex behavioural and communication needs, in a nurturing and inclusive learning environment.

The successful candidate will work with the Behaviour Team and class staff, delivering interventions and contributing to school-wide behaviour strategies across sites. A strong commitment to inclusion and teamwork is essential.

Qualifications

• Experience working with children or young people with SEND and challenging behaviours.
• NVQ Level 3 in Teaching and Learning (or equivalent) required.
• GCSE English and Maths (or equivalent) at grade 4/C or above.

Responsibilities

• Supporting learners in class and across school settings.
• Delivering targeted interventions to individuals and small groups.
• Supporting the delivery of behaviour support strategies, including Team Teach.
• Contributing to training and supporting systems and processes across sites under the Lead Behaviour Support Worker.
