Job summary

Think for the Future is seeking a dedicated School Behaviour and Inclusion Mentor in South Yorkshire. The role is term-time only with a starting salary of £25,000-£27,000 actual (£27,896-£30,128 FTE), supporting disengaged pupils to build social and emotional resilience and achieve positive outcomes.

You’ll work across multiple in-school provisions with no lesson planning or marking, delivering their resilience curriculum and mentoring sessions within 8am-4pm, 37.5 hours/week.

Qualifications

• Experience in behaviour support, youth mentoring, or inclusion roles.
• Ability to build rapport quickly with young people.
• Positive, energetic and adaptable in challenging environments.
• Willingness to travel to multiple schools (up to 60 minutes).

Responsibilities

• Delivering Social & Emotional Resilience curriculum to groups of up to 15 pupils.
• Support pupils through 1:1 and small-group mentoring to build confidence, behaviour and motivation.
• Tailor sessions to meet pupils’ individual needs.
• Use Purple data system to measure progress and drive behaviour change.
• Build strong, positive relationships with school staff.
• Work across 1–5 schools to deliver inclusion support.
• Share good practice with colleagues and contribute to a strong team culture.
• Collaborate with Manager to develop professionally.
