Job summary

Bilton CofE Junior School in the West Midlands is seeking a dedicated Behaviour and Inclusion Lead to strengthen how we support pupils, families and staff. This hands-on role focuses on improving behaviour, pastoral care, SEND, safeguarding and attendance across the school.

You will lead on developing systems, coach colleagues and collaborate with the Head of School, SENDCo and safeguarding teams to translate good practice into everyday teaching.

Qualifications

• Calm, relational and child-centred approach with solutions-focused mindset.
• Experience with behavioural, SEMH or pastoral needs and targeted interventions.
• Ability to work collaboratively with staff, families and external professionals.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop our approach to behaviour and inclusion.
• Coordinate pastoral and inclusion support for vulnerable pupils.
• Develop and evaluate SEMH interventions.
• Coach colleagues and translate ideas into classroom practice.
• Ensure actions across behaviour, SEND, safeguarding, attendance and family support align.
• Use data to identify patterns and improve provision.
