Job summary

CKB Recruitment Limited is recruiting four Business Development Executives to join an insurance brokerage in Stockton. The role offers a clear progression into an Insurance Broker role with training and practical experience, typically within around 12 months.

You will contact prospective business clients, build relationships and contribute to the broking team's growth while earning a base salary and monthly bonus.

Qualifications

• Confident communicator with good telephone manner.
• Experience in outbound sales or business development is advantageous.
• Motivation to hit and exceed targets with performance-based bonuses.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Comfortable using IT systems and CRM tools.

Responsibilities

• Contact prospective clients by telephone, email and other channels.
• Build rapport, identify opportunities and explain the brokerage's services.
• Follow up enquiries and encourage completion of insurance proposal forms.
• Handle objections professionally and confidently.
• Work closely with Brokers to support new business opportunities.
• Maintain accurate client records and notes of conversations.
• Manage your diary and work towards activity and sales targets.
• Take part in training to develop insurance knowledge and broking skills.
