Torus Group in Liverpool is seeking a skilled Bathroom Fitter to join our planned projects team and deliver high-quality bathroom installations across Liverpool, St Helens and Warrington. This is a mobile role requiring travel between sites.

You will undertake full and partial bathroom replacements, manage related trades, supervise apprentices, and ensure safety, quality and customer care. A strong plumbing background with NVQ Level 3 and a valid CSCS card is essential, plus a full UK driving

Qualifikationen

• Essential: NVQ Level 3 / City & Guilds in Plumbing with proof at interview.
• Desirable: NVQ Level 2 in a secondary discipline.
• CSCS card at the appropriate level.
• Full UK driving licence.
• Time served apprenticeship.
• Strong experience in joinery, building maintenance and construction.
• Good customer care and proactive improvement mindset.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

Aufgaben

• Carry out complex maintenance and construction activities in core trade and additional disciplines.
• Undertake full and partial bathroom replacement works with high standards.
• Complete associated bathroom installation tasks (plumbing, tiling, plastering, finishing).
• Support duties including plastering and painting for a 'one job one visit' approach.
• Plan, organise and use materials, time, transport and equipment efficiently.
• Liaise with customers and colleagues to ensure smooth delivery and schedule adherence.
• Supervise apprentices, trainees and other employees as required.
• Diagnose and pre-measure works to scope and complete repairs.
• Use IT systems to receive instructions, update job information and order materials.
• Make informed repair decisions and communicate follow up needs to customers.
• Complete documentation and participate in development programmes.
• Drive company vehicles safely and maintain stock and tools.
• Manage materials to minimise waste and ensure correct specifications.
• Collaborate with Schedulers, Planners, CLOs for coordinated service delivery.
• Uphold high standards of customer care, safety, quality and performance.
• Participate in out of hours rotas where required (additional payment).

Do you have a wide range of trade skills, a commitment to delivering high quality repairs, and the ability to provide excellent customer service? We’re looking for a Bathroom Fitterto join our planned projects team and support the delivery of first class construction and maintenance services across Liverpool, St Helens and Warrington. This is a mobile role, requiring flexibility to work across multiple locations in line with business needs.

What you’ll be doing:

• Carry out complex maintenance and construction activities in your core trade, while delivering additional tasks in at least one other discipline such as Joinery, Plumbing, Plastering or Tiling.
• Undertake full and partial bathroom replacement works, including rip-out, installation, and finishing tasks to a high standard.
• Complete associated works within bathroom installations such as plumbing adjustments, tiling, patch plastering, and finishing.
• Support associated duties including plastering and painting to contribute to our 'one job one visit' approach.
• Plan and organise work effectively, ensuring efficient use of time, materials, transport and equipment.
• Operate within scheduled appointment systems, liaising with customers and colleagues to ensure smooth delivery.
• Supervise and support apprentices, trainees and other employees as required.
• Undertake diagnostic and pre measuring work to scope and complete repairs accurately.
• Use IT systems to receive instructions, update job information and order materials.
• Make informed decisions regarding repair requirements, communicating clearly with customers when follow up work is needed.
• Complete all documentation accurately and contribute to ongoing competency and development programmes.
• Drive company vehicles safely and maintain stock, tools and equipment to required standards.
• Manage materials effectively, minimising waste and ensuring appropriate specifications are used.
• Work collaboratively with Schedulers, Planners, CLOs and other teams to ensure coordinated service delivery.
• Uphold high standards of customer care, safety, quality and performance.
• Participate in out of hours rotas where required (additional payment applies).

What we’re looking for:

• NVQ Level 3 / City & Guilds in Plumbing (essential) - you will be required to provide proof of qualifications if you are invited to attend an interview.
• NVQ Level 2 in a secondary discipline (desirable).
• CSCS card at the appropriate level.
• Full UK driving licence.
• Time served apprenticeship.
• Strong experience in joinery, building maintenance and construction.
• Good customer care skills and a proactive approach to continuous improvement.
• Ability to demonstrate initiative and work independently with minimal supervision.
• Flexible approach to varied duties and changing priorities.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to engage effectively with customers and colleagues.

Interview Process:

• Candidates will be invited to attend an interview, which will include a competency based discussion exploring relevant experience, technical knowledge and customer focused behaviours. Interviews will take place at our Sutton Fold office.
