Grand Hotel Birmingham is hiring for a guest-facing role in Isaacs brasserie and Downstairs bar, offering flexible hours across evenings and weekends. You will guide guests, advise on menus, and ensure service remains guest-centric in a lively, welcoming setting.

• Promote an always welcome and professional image to the guest, and give full co-operation to any guest requiring assistance, forging great relationships
• Be knowledgeable on the menus, being able to answer any questions, and make recommendations
• Follow all steps of service, ensuring the focus remains guest-centric
• Work closely with the bar, kitchen, hosts and wider hotel staff to ensure best possible service
• To build a rapport with all guests in assigned section and use this to maximise sales opportunities
• Be flexible to jump into any roll within the restaurant when needed

Open from breakfast to dinner, and every Sunday for our elevated Sunday Roast, Isaacs is a proud celebration of locally sourced ingredients and elegant simplicity. And when the sun goes down, Downstairs at The Grand takes over — a stylish speakeasy jazz bar with a full calendar of live music, craft cocktails, and cabaret charm.

From classic cocktails to bespoke milkshakes, our bartending team use their creativity, flair and passion to wow our guests. Our approach is laid back but attentive, we are inspired by the Big Apple, but 100% Brum.

We are offering flexible hours to suit your availability – shift patterns range through evenings and weekends from: 11:30 – 18:30 / 17:00 – 23:30 / 18:00 – 01:00
