San Carlo Group is hiring a Bartender in Leeds to join a busy Italian restaurant team. You will greet guests, mix and serve drinks, verify ages, and ensure a clean, welcoming bar environment.

• Greet customers at the bar and take drink orders
• Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages
• Check IDs and ensure responsible service
• Keep bar clean and stocked, restock as needed
• Handle cash and card transactions, open/close tabs

• Make recommendations and answer menu questions
• Manage inventory and order supplies as needed

Key Responsibilities:

• Greeting customers as they approach the bar and taking orders for drinks
• Preparing and serving alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages to customers in a timely and efficient manner
• Checking identification to verify customers' ages and ensuring that customers are not over-served
• Maintaining a clean and organized bar area, including restocking supplies, cleaning glasses, and wiping down surfaces
• Managing cash and credit card transactions, including opening and closing tabs and making change
• Creating and maintaining a welcoming and friendly atmosphere for customers
• Engaging with customers, making recommendations, and answering questions about the menu and drinks
• Managing inventory and ordering supplies as needed
• Providing guidance and assistance to other bar staff
