Job summary

San Carlo in the UK is looking for enthusiastic bar staff to welcome guests, take drink orders, and serve beverages with precision and flair. You will help create a warm, efficient bar environment in a busy restaurant, ensuring guests have an excellent experience.

Responsibilities

• Greeting customers as they approach the bar and taking drink orders.
• Preparing and serving alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages promptly.
• Checking IDs to verify ages and avoid over-serving.
• Maintaining a clean bar area and restocking supplies.
• Handling cash and card transactions, opening/closing tabs.
• Creating a welcoming atmosphere and engaging with customers.
• Making recommendations and answering questions about the menu.
• Assisting with inventory and placing orders as needed.

Key Responsibilities:

• Greeting customers as they approach the bar and taking orders for drinks


• Preparing and serving alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages to customersin a timely and efficient manner


• Checking identification to verify customers' ages and ensuring thatcustomers are not over-served


• Maintaining a clean and organized bar area, including restockingsupplies, cleaning glasses, and wiping down surfaces


• Managing cash and credit card transactions, including opening andclosing tabs and making change


• Creating and maintaining a welcoming and friendly atmosphere forcustomers


• Engaging with customers, making recommendations, and answering questionsabout the menu and drinks


• Managing inventory and ordering supplies as needed


• Providing guidance and assistance to other bar staff
