Job summary

San Carlo Haleare is looking for a Barback to support bartenders and help create a welcoming dining experience in a fast-paced, premium Italian restaurant environment. You will assist with duties, maintain bar cleanliness, and help manage transactions and guest interactions.

Ideal candidates will have relevant experience, excellent communication, and a proactive, detail‑oriented approach. This role offers extensive colleague benefits and opportunities for growth within the San Carlo family.

Responsibilities

• Assisting bartenders with tasks.
• Clearing glasses and using glass washing equipment.
• Checking identification to verify customers' ages and ensuring that customers are not over-served.
• Maintaining a clean and organized bar area, including restocking supplies, cleaning glasses, and wiping down surfaces.
• Managing cash and credit card transactions, including opening and closing tabs and making change.
• Creating and maintaining a welcoming and friendly atmosphere for customers.
• Engaging with customers, making recommendations, and answering questions about the menu and drinks.
