Job summary

San Carlo Hale is hiring a bartender to join our busy bar team in Hale, England. You will prepare and serve drinks, greet customers, and ensure a welcoming atmosphere while maintaining bar standards.

Qualifications

• Experience in a similar role.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers at the bar and take drink orders.
• Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages.
• Check IDs and verify customers' ages to prevent over-serving.
• Maintain a clean, organized bar area and restock supplies.
• Manage cash and card transactions, including opening/closing tabs.
• Create a welcoming atmosphere and engage with customers.
• Recommend drinks and answer questions about the menu.
• Manage inventory and ordering as needed.
• Provide guidance to other bar staff.

Key Responsibilities

• Greeting customers as they approach the bar and taking orders for drinks

• Managing cash and credit card transactions, including opening and closing tabs and making change
• Creating and maintaining a welcoming and friendly atmosphere for customers
• Engaging with customers, making recommendations, and answering questions about the menu and drinks
• Managing inventory and ordering supplies as needed
• Providing guidance and assistance to other bar staff
