San Carlo Group is hiring a Bartender in London. You will greet guests, mix drinks and maintain a pristine bar while ensuring excellent service and responsible beverage service. The role emphasizes guest engagement, accuracy in transactions, and helping teammates during peak hours.

Formación

• Experience in a bartender or similar hospitality role.
• Strong verbal and written communication abilities.
• Meticulous attention to cleanliness, accuracy, and serving.
• Self-motivated, proactive, and able to work with minimal supervision.

Responsabilidades

• Greet customers at the bar and take drink orders.
• Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages promptly.
• Check IDs to verify ages and avoid over-serving.
• Maintain a clean, stocked, and organized bar area.
• Handle cash and card transactions, open/close tabs, give change.
• Create a welcoming atmosphere and engage with guests.
• Offer menu/drink recommendations and answer questions.
• Manage inventory and place orders as needed.
• Support fellow bar staff and maintain team standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Greeting customers as they approach the bar and taking orders for drinks
• Preparing and serving alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages to customers in a timely and efficient manner
• Checking identification to verify customers' ages and ensuring that customers are not over-served
• Maintaining a clean and organized bar area, including restocking supplies, cleaning glasses, and wiping down surfaces
• Managing cash and credit card transactions, including opening and closing tabs and making change
• Creating and maintaining a welcoming and friendly atmosphere for customers
• Engaging with customers, making recommendations, and answering questions about the menu and drinks
• Managing inventory and ordering supplies as needed
• Providing guidance and assistance to other bar staff

Required Qualifications & Experience:

• Experience in a similar role
• Excellent communication skills
• Meticulous attention to detail, highly organised and capable of handling multiple tasks
• A proactive self-starter who can work independently with good judgement and minimal direction
