Job summary

San Carlo Group in London is seeking a friendly Waiter/Waitress to welcome guests, present menus and take orders for food and drinks. You will make recommendations and ensure guests have a memorable dining experience.

You will deliver meals promptly, check guest satisfaction, handle payments, and help with setup and clearing. You’ll work with kitchen and bar staff to ensure smooth service and growth opportunities within our UK venues.

Qualifications

• Experience in a similar waiter/waitress role.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Meticulous attention to detail and highly organised.
• Proactive self-starter with good judgement and independence.

Responsibilities

• Greeting guests as they arrive at the restaurant and escorting them to their table
• Presenting menus to guests and taking orders for food and drinks
• Making recommendations to guests regarding food and beverage selections
• Serving food and beverages to guests in a timely and efficient manner
• Checking on guests throughout their meal to ensure satisfaction and address any issues
• Processing payment for meals and handling cash and credit card transactions
• Assisting with the setup and clean-up of the restaurant before and after service
• Cleaning and resetting tables for the next guests
• Collaborating with kitchen and bar staff to ensure that food and beverages are delivered accurately and on time
