Job summary

Sopwell House, a luxurious Georgian country house hotel in Hertfordshire, is seeking a Bartender for a full-time role. Join a family-owned property delivering timeless elegance and modern comfort with a warm, professional service ethos.

You will craft cocktails and beverages, maintain a pristine bar, and collaborate with front-of-house and kitchen teams to ensure seamless, guest-focused service. Availability for evenings and weekends is expected.

Qualifications

• Experience in Food & Beverage service, preferably luxury hospitality.
• Strong barista and bartending skills.
• Excellent communication and guest service mindset.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a clean, organised, and well-stocked bar at all times.

• Previous experience in Food & Beverage service, ideally in hospitality or a luxury setting
• Strong barista and bartending skills —essential for this role
• A genuine passion for delivering exceptional guest experiences
• Confident, professional, and personable with great communication skills
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
