InterContinental London - The O2 - Food & Beverage is seeking a Bar Manager with strong leadership and extensive hospitality experience to drive a high-end beverage program. You will lead a skilled team, monitor performance against guest feedback and financial targets, and implement strategies to elevate guest satisfaction while maintaining brand standards.

The role requires coaching capabilities, budget oversight, and a proactive approach to marketing and promotions within a 5-star hotel

A bit about what will you do...

Bar Managers in our hotel showcase a passion and a depth of knowledge of high end beverages, leading and inspiring the team to be creative and innovative with the vision of capitalising on sales opportunities and creating an exceptional experience for our guests.

• Lead by example and foster team dynamics to ensure the team remains focused on meeting guests’ needs and brand standards.
• Monitor the performance of the bar through analysis of guest feedback and financial results, initiating corrective action as needed.
• Develop and implement strategies to enhance guest satisfaction and loyalty.
• Manage the departmental budget to reduce costs and maximise profitability.
• Plan and execute marketing campaigns and promotions to attract and retain guests.
• Manage inventory, ordering supplies and maintaining stock levels.
• Hold daily briefings with the team and attend daily Food and Beverage meetings with the leadership team to ensure a seamless guest experience.
• Communicate and enforce policies and procedures with regards to pouring measures and age verification.
• Manage staffing levels according to business demands.
• Address any guest concerns promptly, attentively and efficiently.
• Coach, train, and support the team to provide consistently high standards, while continually looking to improve.
