Job summary

Compass Group UK&I is seeking a Barista to craft drinks and deliver first-class service across our venues on a full-time basis (37.5 hours per week). You will create beautifully crafted coffees and contribute to a positive brand image, while working as part of a busy team.

The ideal candidate has strong communication skills, prior customer service experience, and hands-on experience with brewing equipment. You will learn beverage preparation, health and safety, and food prep, with opportunities

Qualifications

• Previous customer service experience is essential.
• Excellent communication skills with customers and colleagues.
• Ability to work under pressure in a busy environment.
• Hands-on experience with brewing equipment is preferred.
• Good timekeeping and reliability are a must.

Responsibilities

• Prepare perfectly blended drinks and serve high-quality food to delight customers.
• Keep the bar area clean and well organised.
• Receive and process payments (cash and cards).
• Maintain stock of mugs and plates and restock as needed.
• Check brewing equipment operates properly and report issues.
• Represent 14Forty with a positive brand image and comply with safety standards.
• Follow Food Hygiene and Health & Safety regulations.
