Job summary

Compass Group UK&I is recruiting a driven Barista to join Restaurant Associates on a full-time contract (37.5 hours per week). You will craft drinks with precision, deliver excellent service and progress within a company that invests in its people and recognises dedicated colleagues.

As a Barista, you will learn brewing methods, maintain bar cleanliness, manage payments, and support brand standards across UK workplace venues and iconic destinations.

Qualifications

  • Previous customer service experience is preferred.
  • Hands-on experience with brewing equipment.
  • Reliable with excellent timekeeping and punctuality.
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare beverages and serve high-quality drinks and food to customers.
  • Keep the bar area clean and organised.
  • Handle payments (cash and card) accurately.
  • Maintain stock of mugs and plates and assist with stock replenishment.
  • Learn brewing methods and beverage presentation techniques.
  • Check brewing equipment and report maintenance needs.
  • Represent Restaurant Associates and uphold brand image.
  • Adhere to Food Handling, Hygiene and Health & Safety standards.
