Compass Group UK&I is recruiting a driven Barista to craft beverages and deliver excellent service in a high street brand setting. This part-time role is contracted to 15 hours per week, with shifts that vary.

You’ll create beautifully crafted drinks, handle payments, and maintain a clean, welcoming bar area. You should have hands-on brewing experience, great communication skills, and thrive under pressure while upholding Food Hygiene and Health & Safety standards.

Qualifications

• Experience in customer service is required.
• Hands-on experience with brewing equipment.
• Ability to work under pressure and stay composed.
• Excellent timekeeping and reliability.
• Strong communication and team collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Prepare drinks and serve high-quality food that delights customers.
• Keep the bar area clean and well organised.
• Receive and process payments (cash and cards).
• Be an enthusiastic team player with strong communication.
• Maintain stock of mugs and plates for service.
• Learn brewing methods, beverage blends and presentation techniques.
• Check brewing equipment operates correctly and report issues.
• Represent a major High Street brand with a positive image.
• Comply with Food Handling, Hygiene, and Health & Safety standards.
