Job summary

CH&CO, a part of Compass Group UK&I, is recruiting a driven Barista for a full-time role based in Scotland. You will craft beautifully blended drinks and deliver first-class service to our customers, working a 40-hour week with opportunities to progress within a company that invests in its people, recognises achievement, and supports wellbeing.

You will learn brewing methods, beverage blends and food presentation while contributing to a positive brand image and excellent customer experience.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in customer service.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Hands-on experience with brewing equipment is a plus.
• Reliable and punctual with strong timekeeping.

Responsibilities

• Prepare drinks and serve high-quality food to delight customers.
• Keep the bar area clean.
• Receive and process payments (cash and cards).
• Be an enthusiastic team player and an excellent communicator.
• Maintain stock of mugs and plates.
• Learn brewing methods, beverage blends, and presentation techniques.
• Check brewing equipment operates properly and report maintenance needs.
• Represent CH&CO and maintain a positive brand image.
• Comply with Food Handling & Hygiene standards.
• Comply with Health & Safety regulations.

We're currently recruiting a driven Barista to help us create beautifully crafted drinks for CH&CO on a full time basis, contracted to 40 hours per week. As a Barista, you will use your skills to deliver first-class service and perfectly crafted coffees to our customers.
