CH&CO is seeking a driven Barista in Birmingham to craft beautifully prepared drinks and deliver first-class service in a fast-paced environment.

You will handle payments, maintain cleanliness, learn brewing methods, and contribute to a positive brand image while adhering to food hygiene and health and safety standards. Qualifications

• Experience in customer service is required.
• Barista skills and knowledge of brewing methods preferred.
• Able to work full-time, 40 hours per week.
• Excellent communication and reliability.

Responsibilities

• Prepare perfectly blended drinks and serve high-quality food.
• Keep the bar area clean.
• Receive and process payments (cash and cards).
• Be an enthusiastic team player with strong communication.
• Maintain stock of mugs and plates.
• Learn brewing methods and presentation techniques.
• Check brewing equipment and report maintenance needs.
• Represent CH&CO and uphold its brand image.
• Comply with food hygiene and health & safety standards.
• Be a brilliant communicator and build relationships.
• Have hands-on experience with brewing equipment.

Job description

We're currently recruiting a driven Barista to help us create beautifully crafted drinks for CH&CO on a full time basis, contracted to 40 hours per week. As a Barista, you will use your skills to deliver first-class service and perfectly crafted coffees to our customers. • Preparing perfectly blended drinks and serving high-quality food that delights our customers
• Keeping the bar area clean
• Receiving and processing payments (cash and credit cards)
• Being an enthusiastic team player and excellent communicator
• Maintaining stock of clean mugs and plates
• Learning about brewing methods, beverage blends, food preparation and presentation techniques
• Check if brewing equipment operates properly and report any maintenance needs
• Representing CH&CO and maintaining a positive brand image
• Complying with Food Handling & Hygiene standards
• Complying with Health & Safety regulations
• Be a brilliant communicator and easily build relationships
• Have previous experience in customer service
• Strive for excellence in an eager and motivated manner
• Take initiative and make decisions that are right for our customers
• Have Hands-on experience with brewing equipment
• Possess the ability to work under pressure
• Demonstrate exceptional timekeeping and reliability
