Job summary

CH&CO, part of Compass Group UK&I, is seeking a driven Barista to join our team on a full-time basis, 37.5 hours per week. You will craft beverages and deliver first-class service, contributing to a welcoming customer experience.

Qualifications

• Experience as a barista and comfortable with customer-facing service.
• Hands-on experience with brewing equipment and maintaining cleanliness.
• Able to work in a fast-paced hospitality environment and under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Prepare blended drinks and serve high-quality beverages.
• Keep the bar area clean and stocked.
• Process payments (cash and card) accurately.
• Communicate effectively and work as part of a team.
• Maintain stock of mugs and plates and ensure hygiene standards.

We're currently recruiting a driven Barista to help us create beautifully crafted drinks for CH&CO on a full time basis, contracted to 37.5 hours per week. As a Barista, you will use your skills to deliver first-class service and perfectly crafted coffees to our customers. Your key responsibilities will include:

• Preparing perfectly blended drinks and serving high-quality food that delights our customers
• Keeping the bar area clean
• Receiving and processing payments (cash and credit cards)
• Being an enthusiastic team player and excellent communicator
• Maintaining stock of clean mugs and plates
• Learning about brewing methods, beverage blends, food preparation and presentation techniques
• Check if brewing equipment operates properly and report any maintenance needs
• Representing CH&CO and maintaining a positive brand image
• Complying with Food Handling & Hygiene standards
• Complying with Health & Safety regulations
