Job summary
Windmill Village Hotel, Golf Club & Spa in Coventry is seeking a Bars Assistant to deliver exceptional service at the bar and dining areas. You will work with a friendly team to ensure guests have memorable experiences and receive efficient, courteous attention throughout their visit.

Qualifications
- Experience in a similar hospitality environment.
- Strong customer care and guest service skills.
- Able to upsell additional menu items to customers.
Responsibilities
- Supply the highest possible level of guest care and service.
- Prepare bar area and dispensing equipment prior to service.
- Attain knowledge of drinks and pricing.
- Prepare drinks orders according to recipes.
- Take orders, dispense drinks, serve at bar and tables where applicable, handle cash transactions.
- Wash and maintain glassware during service.
- Serve bar foods and sundry items as required.
- Carry out bar closing procedures.
- Understand bar food menu and beverage stock.
- Promote additional menu items using upsell techniques.
- Maintain high table turnover with minimal waiting times.
- Process payments and count takings at end of shift.
- Comply with Alcohol Licensing regulations.
- Carry out cleaning rota tasks to required standards.
- Assist guests with courtesy and hospitality.
