Job summary
Ardencote Hotel & Spa in Warwickshire is seeking an experienced Assistant Bars Manager to lead our bar operation, support the team and deliver an exceptional guest experience every day.
Working with the Bars Manager, you will oversee shifts, coach staff, uphold high standards of safety and hygiene, and help drive the commercial success of our bars through smart stock, costs and promotions.
Qualifications
- Experience in busy bar, hospitality or Food & Beverage environment.
- Ability to lead, motivate and develop others.
- Stay calm, organised and positive during busy services.
- Understand standards, safety and attention to detail.
- Commercial mindset with sales, stock and costs.
Responsibilities
- Lead shifts and manage bar operations to deliver exceptional guest service.
- Support, coach and develop Bar and F&B teams; assist inductions and reviews.
- Ensure smooth service with pre-shift briefings, SOPs and duty management.
- Monitor sales, payroll, costs and waste; help drive revenue and profitability.
- Maintain high standards of safety, hygiene, licensing, and equipment.
