Job summary

The Belfry Hotel & Resort in the Midlands is seeking a friendly Food and Beverage Assistant to join our busy bar and dining outlets. You will welcome guests, take orders, upsell menu items, and help deliver a memorable guest experience across our bars and restaurants.

Previous experience is preferred but not essential; full training will be provided. This role involves late nights and weekend work, with an hourly rate of £12.71 plus service charge and access to Belfry benefits.

Qualifications

• Experience delivering high-quality guest service in a busy bar or restaurant preferred.
• Willingness to learn and work across multiple outlets.
• Able to engage guests and upsell menu items with enthusiasm.

Responsibilities

• As a food and beverage assistant, duties include all those of a waiter or bartender
• Welcome all guests in a polite and friendly manner
• Deliver a great experience from beginning to end
• Confidently talk about menus, offer upsells and enthusiastically promote specials
• Take orders from guests and ensure needs are met
• Maintain cleaning and hygiene to high standards
• Work across any outlets to support the resort's smooth operation
