Job summary

BOXPARK - Liverpool is hiring a Bar Team Member to deliver friendly, efficient service and contribute to a vibrant guest experience at our Liverpool venue.

You will prepare beverages, upsell where appropriate, and keep the bar and floor clean while adhering to safety and licensing regulations. The role includes health and wellbeing perks and rewards team performance within the BOXPARK network.

Qualifications

• Thorough knowledge of drinks and food offerings.
• Understanding of licensing objectives and Challenge 25 policy.
• Excellent communication and guest service skills.

Responsibilities

• Prepare alcoholic or non-alcoholic beverages efficiently.
• Provide a friendly, welcoming guest experience.
• Assess guest needs and upsell where appropriate.
• Keep bar and floor clean and presentable.
• Ensure safe service of alcohol per policy.
• Restock bar inventory and supplies.
• Maintain compliance with food and beverage regulations.
• Record wastage and report to supervisor.
• Follow pouring standards and complete tests.
• Communicate issues to management.
• Work until 20th December and return by 1st January.

The Company:

For 13 years we have been offering our famous EAT.DRINK.PLAY experience with unrivalled street food, bars, shops and entertainment all under one roof.Where else could you eat Greek gyros and catch a Harry Styles party all in one place? Or play crazy golf, eat a Bao and watch Stormzy perform? No where!

In 2011 we created the world’s first pop-up dining and shopping destination in the heart of Shoreditch before opening venues in other iconic locations in Croydon, Wembley and in 2024 we opened in Liverpool and Camden.

Key Responsibilities:

• Preparing alcoholic or non‑alcoholic beverages for guests in an efficient and timely fashion
  


• Providing a friendly, welcome and unique guest experience


• Assessing guest’s needs and preferences and making recommendations using excellent product knowledge


• Making useful upsell recommendations where applicable


• Keep the bar and floor presentable and clean to the highest standard


• Operate challenge 25 policy to ensure safe service of alcohol


• Restock and replenish bar inventory and supplies


• Stay guest focused and nurture an excellent guest experience


• Comply with all food and beverage regulations


• All wastage to be recorded on the spot and reported to supervisor


• Pouring standards to be adhered to always and regular pour tests completed


• Always maintain a clean and tidy bar top and back bar


• Take responsibility for tasks assigned by management and communicate any issues to supervisors/managers


• Must be able to work until the 20th of December and be back for the 1st of January
