voco Grand Central Hotel in Glasgow’s city centre is seeking a Bar Team Leader to join our Champagne Central Bar. This full-time role supports the Bar Manager to keep the department running smoothly and to ensure 5-star service, handling high-level recoveries, training new starts and covering shifts in the Bar Manager’s absence.

Qualifications

• Availability to work 5 shifts per week including weekends and bank holidays (evening availability is essential)
• Experience in a busy Bar team within a 4- or 5-star hotel, ideally as a Supervisor, Team Leader or Assistant Manager
• Passion for providing excellent guest service with a personal experience
• Experience developing and coaching team members to perform at their best
• Un-stuffy, thoughtful service with a host persona and laid-back stay
• Interest in environment and sustainability – focus on innovation and sustainability
