Greene King Brewery in Glasgow is seeking an Assistant Manager / Bar Manager to lead the bar team and support the General Manager in delivering exceptional guest experiences. You will drive sales, manage stock and ensure high standards across operations.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as an Assistant Manager, Bar Manager or Supervisor in hospitality.
• Ability to deliver excellent customer experiences.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• Experience managing stock, orders, and wastage.
• Ability to think on your feet during busy service.
• Attention to detail and high standards.
• Knowledge of drinks and premium products is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Support the General Manager in running the business and cover in their absence.
• Lead and develop the bar team to maximise service and sales.
• Own stock control, ordering, wastage management and bar profitability.
• Support recruitment, training, coaching and performance management.
• Drive operational excellence across front-of-house and bar.
• Ensure licensing, health & safety and food safety compliance.
• Contribute to labour planning and achieving KPIs.
