Radisson Blu Hotel Glasgow is seeking a Conference and Banqueting Food Team Supervisor. You will oversee day-to-day operations for conferences and banquets, ensuring top service standards and guest satisfaction, while guiding the team through event setups and breakdowns.

The role requires hands-on leadership, strong organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple events in a fast-paced setting. Flexible hours and evenings/weekends availability are expected.

Qualifications

• Experience in conference/banqueting supervisory role.
• Strong leadership and team motivation skills.
• Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to oversee multiple events in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong customer service focus and guest satisfaction.
• Knowledge of food and beverage service, event logistics, and health & safety regulations.

Responsibilities

• Supervising setup and breakdown of conference and banquet events to meet client expectations.
• Lead and motivate the conference and banqueting team to deliver exceptional service.
• Coordinate with kitchen, bar and operations teams for smooth event execution.
• Act as point of contact for clients during events and handle last-minute changes.
• Monitor service standards and ensure adherence to hotel procedures and guest expectations.
• Train and mentor staff to enhance service skills and efficiency.
• Manage stock levels of event supplies and equipment.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety and hygiene regulations.
