Job summary

Radisson Blu Hotel Glasgow seeks a proactive Meetings & Events Operations Assistant to set up event spaces, assist with food and beverage service, and ensure exceptional guest experiences at conferences, meetings and banquets in Glasgow.

The role offers flexible hours, a £13.45 per hour rate, and a Real Living Wage employer with extensive staff benefits and progression opportunities within Axiom Hospitality.

Qualifications

• Truly passionate about the Hospitality Industry
• Conference and banqueting experience is preferred but not essential
• Excellent personal presentation
• Good understanding of food hygiene and health & safety procedures
• Ability to function independently with minimal supervision
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Enthusiastic team player with a flexible approach

Responsibilities

• Setting up and breaking down event spaces according to client needs and hotel standards
• Assisting with food and beverage service during conferences, banquets and events
• Ensuring tables and service areas are well-presented and maintained during events
• Providing attentive and friendly service to guests
• Coordinating with kitchen and service teams for smooth service
• Clearing tables and resetting spaces for upcoming functions
• Upholding health, safety and hygiene regulations in all handling of food and beverage
• Assisting with additional event duties as required by the banqueting team
