Job summary

Qualifications

• Experience in Run The Bank roles within financial institutions, specifically in resolving incident queries.
• Proficiency with Cobol, Abend-aid, DB2, and basic JCL in the banking sector.
• Solid understanding of ITIL concepts and Service Management tools (ServiceNow/SNOW) for incident, problem and change management.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical support to resolve complex issues for a client or group of clients; develop the support model to improve service quality.
• Perform preventative maintenance on hardware and software; monitor tools/metrics to prevent issues and ensure performance.
• Maintain a knowledge base with documented resolved cases for future reference and self-service.
• Analyze system logs and user reports to identify root causes and implement fixes (hardware/software/config changes).
• Drive automation, monitoring enhancements, capacity management, resiliency and business continuity support; manage stakeholder relationships.
• Identify and remediate or raise potential service impacting risks and issues.
• Proactively implement automations to maintain stability and fine-tune monitoring tools and alerts.
