Our friendly, professional, and caring Inpatients Ward at Emerson’s Green hospital in Bristol is seeking a Bank - Ward Clerk to join and support our Healthcare team.

This is a Bank / Ad-hoc position

Offering casual working hours, mainly late afternoons and evenings

Typical working hours from 16:00 to 20:00

3 out of 4 evenings during the week and occasional Saturday shifts required

What you'll be doing
  • You will liaise with the admin team and other departments to ensure a seamless service.
  • Book post-operative appointments, monitor patient movements, and inform nursing staff when patients return from theatre, including communicating with patients and their families.
  • Manage ward input on the MAXIMS system, including audit data, clinical outcomes, and notes.
  • Attend meetings, take minutes, and distribute notes to relevant parties, maintaining proper records.
What we look for in you
  • Experience in a similar role, ensuring departmental compliance, liaising with internal and external stakeholders, and maintaining patient satisfaction.
  • Strong focus on compliance, governance, and adherence to company standards.
  • Excellent communication skills at all levels, proficient in administration, and capable of managing multiple tasks with computer literacy.
