Job summary

Surrey Choices is hiring Bank Support Workers in Banstead to provide flexible, bank shifts and high-quality support. You will help people with disabilities pursue a meaningful life in their community, guided by our core values and a commitment to inclusion.

You will assist with personal care, health needs and medication administration, working with a team to ensure safety, safeguarding, and respect for independence while following individual support plans.

Responsibilities

• Support customers in making informed choices and developing life skills in line with individual support plans.

• Work within safeguarding, risk assessment and confidentiality to maintain a safe environment.

Bank Support Workers

Location: Banstead

Hours: Bank working - flexible shifts available

Salary: £12.98 per hour

We are currently recruiting Bank Support Workers to join our Respite Service in Banstead. You will have a positive and enthusiastic attitude and be a motivated individual to deliver high-quality service.

As a Bank Support Worker, you will support customers in making informed choices, develop life skills to reach their full potential in accordance with individual support plans. Ensuring the customers are always treated with respect, as well as ensuring a safe environment is created.

You will be required to provide personal care, including any health and medication requirements, manual handling of the customers we support.

Working well within a team, you will demonstrate a practical understanding of professional boundaries, safeguarding, risk assessment, and confidentiality.
