Job summary

Certitude is recruiting a Bank Support Worker to enable people to manage daily life and participate in their communities in Braintree, Chelmsford, Epping Forest, Colchester, and Thurrock. You will assist with money management, appointments, and meetings to maximise independence.

The role requires building relationships, supporting personal choices, and working both independently and as part of a team, with commitment to training and DBS disclosure.

Qualifications

• Experience of supporting a family member, friend, elderly person, or someone needing practical and/or emotional assistance.
• Ability to use information technology to complete documentation in required formats and compile detailed written reports to a good standard.
• Ability to build great relationships with others and help others make contacts and friendships.
• Able to motivate others to try new things, meet new people and organise others to achieve.
• Able to work on your own initiative and also be a great team player.
• Be receptive and demonstrate a commitment to relevant training.

Hourly Rate: £12.71 per hour

About the role

The role of a Bank Support Worker is to enable the people we support to manage aspects of their daily life. Support will include money management, attend appointments and facilitate meetings in order to maximise the individual’s independence and enable them to be part of their communities.

Duties will include:

• Build great relationships with the people we support and the people important in their lives.

About you

To be a Bank Support Worker at Certitude, the following are essential:
