Job summary

Choice Support is seeking Bank Support Workers in Milton Keynes, Bucks, to help people with learning disabilities and mental health needs live full lives with choice and belonging. You’ll support daily activities, meals, and social times in a warm, person-centred home.

This 24-hour service requires flexibility and sleep-ins as part of the shift pattern, with training provided and a supportive team environment helping you grow in the role.

• Support people to achieve their very best across daily activities including cooking, cleaning, activities and games, and guiding positive behaviours.

• Sleep-ins are required as part of the 24-hour rota.

We're looking for Bank Support Workers to join our amazing teams in Milton Keynes, Buckinghamshire.

No two days will be the same supporting people to achieve their very best. You will have a varied array of tasks whilst on shift; everything from cooking & cleaning, taking part in activities and games, managing challenging behaviours and even putting your feet up watching TV with the people you are supporting. We aim to create a positive, relaxed home environment where the people we support feel safe, supported & listened to. You will be supported and guided by senior staff members to establish appropriate boundaries, manage behaviours effectively and nurture the people we support towards positive futures.

Hours

This is a 24-hour service 7 days a week, so flexibility is required.

You will be required to do sleep-ins.

Wolverton, Milton Keynes.
