Job summary

Affinity Trust is recruiting a dedicated support worker in Whitstable (CT5) with additional shifts in Blean (CT2) and Herne Bay (CT6) as required. The role involves helping people live meaningful lives, promoting independence and social connections, and requires a car for travel between locations (driving licence advantageous).

Qualifications

• Enhanced DBS check required (to be completed and paid for by us).
• Ability to travel between Whitstable, Blean and Herne Bay would be beneficial (car and full UK driving licence advantageous).

Who will I support?

You’ll be supporting people in Whitstable (CT5), Blean (CT2), and Herne Bay (CT6). To travel between these areas, you’ll need a car and a full UK driving licence. However, we can consider one applicant who doesn’t drive.

The people we support enjoy a wide variety of social and leisure activities. Whether it’s scenic drives, trips to the cinema, bowling, shopping, or relaxing at garden centres and cafés, no two days are the same. They also love catching up with friends at the pub and spending quality time with their families at home.
