Job summary

Affinity Trust in Wakefield Outreach is seeking a dedicated support worker to empower people to lead independent lives. You will help with daily living tasks, meal preparation, and home maintenance while promoting choice and community involvement.

You will support individuals to build skills, confidence and social connections, adapting your approach to each person’s needs and pace. DBS checks are required and full training is provided.

Qualifications

• Full UK driving licence and access to a car/vehicle.
• Enhanced DBS check required and paid by us.
• Full UK working rights.

Responsibilities

• Support people with life skills, cooking and maintaining their home.
• Encourage independence and participation in community activities.
• Support with appointments and trying new experiences.

Who will I support?

You will be supporting people with life skills, cooking, maintaining their home. Supporting with food attending appointments and trying new experiences and encourage independence.

• You will adaptyour support to fit what each person needs and wants daily.
