Job summary

Avenues Group in the Haringey area is seeking Bank Support Workers to assist adults with learning disabilities, autism and behaviours that challenge. You will help with daily living activities, support social engagement, manage small finances and assist with personal care, while helping individuals access their community.

No two days are the same, and we provide extensive training to support your career, including a Health and Social Care Diploma, with flexible hours and opportunities for

• Supporting daily living activities and helping people engage with their community.
• Facilitating social activities and enabling connections with family and friends.
• Assisting with managing finances for our service users.
• Maintaining clean and safe home environments and assisting with shopping.
• Providing and encouraging personal care.

Bank Support Workers

We are looking for Bank Support Workers to work with us in and around Haringey, supporting female and male adults who have learning disabilities, autism and behaviours that challenge.

No two days are the same but your day might look like this!

• Supporting our people to be engaged in all day to day living activities, including making full use of their community and beyond.
• Supporting our people with social activities, and connecting with family and friends.
• Supporting the management of our people's finances.
• Keeping our people's home clean and fresh, and going shopping.
• Providing, and encouraging, personal care.
• And enjoying what you do!

Experience in social care is not essential, we provide a full range of accredited and award-winning training programmes at no cost to yourself, including the Health and Social Care Diploma that will really support your career progression.
