Job summary

Sanctuary Group is seeking a Bank Support Assistant in Birkenhead to provide hands-on, high‑quality support for customers. You will encourage daily living skills, promote social inclusion, and advocate with agencies as needed, while maintaining safety and accurate records.

Qualifications

  • NVQ Level 2 in Health and Social Care or willingness to work towards it.
  • Proficient technology/IT skills (Microsoft Office and similar).
  • Excellent communication skills to build positive relationships with customers, families and agencies.
  • Experience working effectively as part of a team.

Bank Support Assistant

£13.15 per hour

Hours as and when required

Your role
  • Provide a hands‑on, high‑quality support service
  • Encourage customers to develop daily living skills such as cooking, cleaning, shopping and community involvement
  • Promote social inclusion and help customers build confidence, resilience and self‑esteem
  • Work with agencies on behalf of customers, encouraging choice and acting as an advocate when needed

  • Ability to keep accurate records and share information clearly with the team
  • Excellent communication skills to build positive relationships with customers, families and agencies
  • Experience working effectively as part of a team
