Job summary

Greensleeves Care in Sevenoaks is seeking a Bank Senior Care Assistant to support our 24-hour dementia and nursing care services across our care homes in England. You will help residents with personal care, respond to call bells, and collaborate with GPs and other health professionals to meet healthcare needs.

Qualifications

• Qualifications and Credit Framework (QCF) diploma in social care level 2 or other relevant qualification
• Experience in safe administration of Medication
• Understanding of the importance of confidentiality
• Experience in providing care

Responsibilities

• Help to ensure that all care, domestic and kitchen staff contribute to the best of their ability to the efficient running of the Home and the creation of the right atmosphere
• Assist residents with their personal care needs
• Answer call bells, emergency bells, the door and the telephone: greet visitors
• Ensure the healthcare needs of the residents are met by liaising with GPs, District Nurses, Chiropodists, etc
