The role emphasizes one-to-one and small group support, detailed record-keeping, and collaboration with families and professionals to track progress

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Teaching Assistance or equivalent.
• Experience working with children with special educational needs (SEND).
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
• Patience, empathy and a genuine passion for supporting learners.
• Proficient in assistive technologies and adaptive equipment.
• Willingness to engage in ongoing professional development.
• Provide one-to-one or small group support to students with SEND.
• Assist with tailored learning programmes and therapeutic interventions.
• Support personal care routines and daily living skills.
• Communicate with parents, caregivers and other professionals.
