Job summary

Academics is hiring an Individual Support Assistant for a mainstream primary school in Gloucester to start ASAP. You will provide tailored 1:1 support to help a pupil thrive academically, socially, and emotionally, in a nurturing and inclusive environment.

Role runs full-time, 8:30am to 3:30pm, with daily rate between 90 and 105 pounds depending on experience. An Enhanced DBS is preferred or willingness to apply, and you will work closely with teachers, the SENCO, and external professionals to

Qualifications

Provide 1:1 tailored support to help the pupil thrive academically, socially, and emotionally.
Assist with communication strategies, including BSL, Makaton, or AAC methods (not essential).
Implement learning strategies in line with EHCP.
Work with teachers, the SENCO, and external professionals to adapt learning activities.
Encourage independence while providing reassurance and guidance.

Responsibilities
