Be the first person everyone meets in this front-of-house role, when you join Signature Senior Lifestyle as a Receptionist at our luxury care and nursing home in Caversham.

Your role at Signature

The reception area is your domain! You’ll be responsible for cleaning and tidying the area to make the best possible impression, ensuring the entrance is welcoming to visitors and residents alike.

You’ll greet visitors in a professional, friendly, and courteous manner, check the visitors’ book, verify identities as reasonably practicable, and sign the contractors’ log when visitors are workmen.

You’ll answer and redirect phone calls, record messages, manage emails and faxes, and perform various administrative duties such as filing, word processing, maintaining databases, and photocopying for senior staff. Additionally, you’ll organise staff lunch rotas, receive and manage post, and sign for incoming mail if residents cannot receive it themselves.
