Job summary

Cygnet Hospital Godden Green is a private mental health hospital providing specialist acute and PICU services. We are seeking friendly, experienced receptionists to provide ad-hoc reception cover on a bank/casual basis.

You will work on ad-hoc shifts, Monday to Sunday, in a hospital environment to create a safe, welcoming space for colleagues, visitors and patients. The ideal candidate is well presented, adaptable and communicative, with experience in reception/administration and a good level of

Responsibilities

  • Welcome visitors and staff
  • Ensure visitors sign in/out and patients are logged correctly
  • Answer and transfer calls and take messages
  • Sort and distribute post and assist with general office duties
  • Keep reception area clean and tidy
  • Promote safety and security procedures

Cygnet Hospital Godden Green is a private mental health hospital providing specialist acute and PICU services for women in a calm and therapeutic environment. We are looking for friendly and experienced Receptionist to join our team on a Bank/Casual basis to provide reception cover as and when required.

You’ll be working ad-hoc shifts, Monday to Sunday in a hospital setting, helping to provide a safe, welcoming environment for colleagues, visitors and the people in our care.

The ideal candidate must be adaptable and well presented with a friendly disposition with excellent communication skills.

Duties will include welcoming all visitors / staff, maintaining security procedures and effective use of the hospital switchboard.

Your Day-to-Day...
  • Provide a professional, welcoming reception experience
  • Greet visitors & notify the appropriate member of staff of their arrival
  • Ensure visitors sign in & out, and that patients leaving & returning are recorded appropriately
  • Answer & transfer all incoming calls & take messages where appropriate
  • Sort & distribute post, and assist with general office duties as required
  • Keep the reception area clean & tidy
  • Promote the safety & security of all site users and ensure all staff comply with security protocols.
You are...
  • An experienced receptionist/administrator used to liaising with customers/clients
  • Organised, naturally helpful and a good multi-tasker
  • Computer literate – including Windows/Word/Excel/Outlook or equivalent
  • Knowledgeable of telephone systems
  • Polite, friendly & approachable with excellent communication skills
  • Diligent & accurate, with an eye for detail and an understanding of confidentiality.

Please note, successful candidates will be required to undergo an enhanced DBS check.
