Job summary

Spire South Bank Hospital in Worcester is inviting applications for a Bank Perioperative Practitioner to support our surgical teams with a flexible bank contract. You will assist in theatre for consultant led surgeries across orthopaedics, cosmetics, gynae and ENT, and help develop patient care plans within the perioperative pathway.

We're looking for qualified ODP or Nurse, with orthopaedic and theatre experience, registered with NMC or HCPC, and a proactive team player who thrives in a busy,

• Assess patients’ health and wellbeing across a complex caseload and develop appropriate care plans.

Duties and responsibilities

• Assist in theatre for consultant led surgeries that vary in complexity and specialism, such as orthopaedics, cosmetics, gynae and ENT to name a few.
• You will assess patient’s health and well-being across a complex and changing caseload.
• Develop care plans that are appropriate to the patient, taking into consideration the care pathway, perioperative risks and their wellbeing.

Who we're looking for

• Qualified ODP/Nurse.
