Job summary

Spire Claremont Hospital in Sheffield is seeking a Bank Perioperative Practitioner to join the theatre team on a flexible bank basis. You will assist in theatre for consultant-led surgeries across orthopaedics, cosmetics, gynae and ENT, and support perioperative care.

You must be an ODP or nurse with orthopaedic experience and current NMC/HCPC registration. This role offers competitive rates with weekly pay, free uniform and DBS, plus ongoing training and progression opportunities within Spire

• Registered ODP or Nurse with current licence.
• Orthopaedic experience.
• Registered with NMC/HCPC with no restrictions.
• Experience in a surgical/Theatre setting.

Responsibilities

• Assist in theatre for consultant-led surgeries across various specialisms.
• Assess patient health and well-being on a complex caseload.
• Develop care plans considering perioperative risks and pathways.

Duties and responsibilities

• Assist in theatre for consultant led surgeries that vary in complexity and specialism, such as orthopaedics, cosmetics, gynae and ENT to name a few.
• You will assess patient’s health and well-being across a complex and changing caseload.
• Develop care plans that are appropriate to the patient, taking into consideration the care pathway, perioperative risks and their wellbeing.

Who we're looking for

• Qualified ODP/Nurse.
• Orthopaedic experience
• NMC or HCPC registered with no restrictions on your registration.
• Have been employed in a surgical/Theatre setting.
• You will be highly motivated and used to working in challenging but rewarding environment.
