Job summary

Sanctuary Supported Living is seeking a Bank Night Project Worker to join our Ofsted-registered young people service at 106 Whitstable Road, Canterbury, Kent, CT2 8ED. You will assess needs, support with daily tasks, and help customers meet tenancy conditions in a compassionate team environment.

Hours are as and when required, with an emphasis on safeguarding and welfare. NVQ3 in Health and Social Care or willingness to study is valued; benefits include flexible working, training, and employee

Qualifications

  • Experience working with vulnerable people.
  • Positive approach to supporting young people with varied needs.
  • Strong interpersonal and customer care skills.
  • Effective communication and ability to work on your own initiative.
  • Knowledge of support planning, key working, risk assessment, and safeguarding.
  • Proficient technology/IT skills (Microsoft Office and similar).
  • NVQ Level 3 in Health and Social Care, or willingness to work towards it.

Responsibilities

  • Assess customer needs, update support plans, and signpost to education, training, and employment
  • Support customers with daily living tasks such as cooking and cleaning
  • Offer advice to help customers meet tenancy conditions
  • Assist with managing finances and welfare benefits

Your role
