Job summary

Agincare in Winslow is hiring a Care Assistant to join our compassionate team. This bank role offers flexible night and weekend shifts and a pay rate of £12.91 per hour. You will provide companionship, personal care, meals and mobility support to clients in our local care setting.

We welcome applicants with at least 12 months right to work in the UK and a willingness to work on a zero hours contract. Fully funded training to QCF level 5 and a range of staff benefits are included.

Qualifications

• A minimum of 12 months on your right to work in the UK.
• This is a bank role and you must be flexible to work nights and weekends as required.
• Please note this is a zero hour contract.
• Must be flexible.

Responsibilities

• Companionship - Providing support, companionship, communication and engagement.
• Personal care - supporting with a wash, bath or shower and assisting with dressing and oral care.
• Medication - Prompting, assisting or administering medications and creams.
• Meals – Supporting the client with healthy meals, snacks and beverages.
• Domestic tasks - light cleaning tasks.
• Mobility - Supporting the client to live as independently as possible with their mobility.
• Social activities - Trips out, social engagements and activities within the home.

A day in the life of a Care Assistant
