Job summary

Agincare Weymouth is seeking an experienced Care Assistant for a bank position at Hazlemere Lodge and St James Court in High Wycombe. The role involves providing compassionate care across days, nights and weekends on a zero-hour contract.

You will help with companionship, personal care, medication reminders, meals and mobility support while promoting client independence within the home environment.

Qualifications

• A minimum of 12 months on your right to work in the UK.
• Bank position with flexible days, nights and weekends as required.
• Zero hour contract.

Responsibilities

• Companionship - Providing support, companionship, communication and engagement.
• Personal care - supporting with a wash, bath or shower and assisting with dressing and oral care.
• Medication - Prompting, assisting or administering medications and creams.
• Meals - Supporting the client with healthy meals, snacks and beverages.
• Domestic tasks - light cleaning tasks.
• Mobility - Supporting the client to live as independently as possible.
• Social activities - Trips out, social engagements and activities within the home.

A day in the life of a Care Assistant
