Job summary

Cygnet Hospital Hexham is seeking a Bank Maintenance Assistant to join our maintenance team. You will perform a range of maintenance tasks including painting, joinery, plumbing and general building work at a 27-bed women’s mental health facility.

You may travel to other sites and be on-call for emergencies outside normal hours. Ideal candidates are experienced in painting and decorating, hold a Level 2 Diploma in Painting & Decorating/Maintenance, and have a full driving licence.

Qualifications

• Experience in painting and decorating in indoor and outdoor environments.
• Willing to travel & hold a full valid driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Provide a comprehensive maintenance & repair service.
• Carry out tasks including basic joinery, plumbing, painting & general building work.
• Maintain plant, services & vehicles in working order.
• Check fire alarm points weekly and report hazards.
