Job summary

The Brendoncare Foundation is looking for a Housekeeper to join our Knightwood care home near Eastleigh, Hampshire. You will be responsible for maintaining high standards of cleanliness and hygiene while respecting residents' privacy.

Responsibilities

• Maintain high standards of cleanliness and hygiene within the Home.
• Ensure safety and privacy of residents whilst performing cleaning duties.
• Keeping adequate supplies of cleaning materials and ensure they are stored safely.
• Reporting hazards and repair requirements.
• Adhering to COSHH and Health and Safety regulations and working within the Policies and Procedures of Brendoncare.

Job description

We are seeking a Housekeeper who will need to have previous experience as a domestic assistant/cleaner outside of your own home. In addition, you will need to be able to demonstrate a flexible attitude to working, be reliable and have a caring disposition towards older people.

What will I be doing?

• Maintaining high standards of cleanliness and hygiene within the Home;
• Ensuring the safety and privacy of residents whilst performing cleaning duties;
• Keeping adequate supplies of cleaning materials and ensure they are stored safely;
• Reporting hazards and repair requirements;
• Adhering to COSHH and Health and Safety regulations and working within the Policies and Procedures of Brendoncare.
