Qualifications

• NVQ Level 2 in Health and Social Care or willingness to work towards it.
• Proficient technology/IT skills (Microsoft Office and similar).
• Excellent communication skills to build relationships with customers, families and agencies.

Responsibilities

• Provide a high quality, hands-on support service.
• Support customers with learning disabilities to maximise potential and independence.
• Encourage daily living skills such as cooking, cleaning, shopping and community participation.
• Encourage social inclusion and help build confidence, resilience and self-esteem.
• Work with statutory and non-statutory agencies on behalf of customers and advocate when required.
• Maintain a safe environment and comply with relevant regulations and practices.
